It’s a question I get asked a lot, but my answer is always the same – “it all depends!”. You see, just because a mattress suits me and is comfortable for me to sleep on doesn’t necessarily mean that it will suit you. I’m 6 feet 4 and I weigh 225 pounds, so if you are 5 foot 4 and weigh 125 pounds, you can see that we would have very different needs when it comes to a mattress.
You can spend thousands of dollars on a top end mattress, but will it be comfortable? Probably yes, but money alone doesn’t guarantee that you’ll end up with the best mattress you can get. For that the is absolutely no substitute for going to your local mattress store, laying down on lots of different mattresses, and spending some time trying them out. Don’t just lie there still either, move around, try to mimic what you would do while you’re asleep.
