Patio Cushions - it's a wonder they stay so bright and cheerful
It must be terrible being a patio cushion.
How so?
Well, patio cushions are left out in all sorts of weathers. They suffer the heat of the baking sun and are subject to bleaching and fading by the strong rays yet they are expected to stay bright at all times.
They are often left out in the rain and get an unexpected soaking. Yet they are supposed to shrug off the water and not go moldy.
Cushions are squashed for long periods of time when we sit on them all day in the garden yet they have to bounce back into shape the moment we get up. And they have to be tough so that their seams don’t burst under the heaviest weight.
Please don’t mention the hazards of sticky ice cream hands and sun tan lotion.
All this and people complain that they are too expensive.
Who would be a patio cushion? Not me!
