What is Secured Debt

One of the most questions asked during bankruptcy  interviews of people wanting to file bankruptcy always seems to be  can I keep my furniture , laptop or my camera I purchased a couple of years ago? This questions is typically “yes”. However, when filing bankruptcy the question really depends on the timeline of when products were purchased;  how were the products were paid for. The concern with how products were paid for falls with in the interest of the party wanting to file bankruptcy.
