The Wii Remote Made Gaming Fun

Gaming used to be an activity reserved for a small handful of people.  Many can argue why that is but a popular opinion is that it was just too complicated.  The controls to operate the game and do certain functions were hard to learn.  The thumb-operated joystick can be cumbersome to small or arthritic hands.  Most people give up on the games not for lack of desire to play them but simply because operating it isn’t user friendly.  The advent of the wii remote changed all of that and made gaming fun again.

The controls of the Nintendo console are straightforward.  All you do is mimic the action that is required in the game.  The control has sensors that register your movements and translate them into movements on the video game.  The result is a home simulator.  You don’t have to spend hours just trying to memorize the order of the buttons you must push to swing a tennis racket because all you do is swing.  It can’t get any more basic than that and it is equally as fun.

The ability to use multiple controls means that many people can play it at the same time and many of the games are made with this intent in mind.  The ease of use allows for people of all sizes, ages, and conditions to play.  Nintendo also has made several wii games accessories that make the console even cooler.  You can get the wii board, wii zapper and the wii wheel that make some simulations like driving even more realistic.

Gone are the days of throwing down your controller and thinking that you wasted hundreds of dollars on a frustrating system.  Now with the advent of the wii remote you can pick up the remote  and enjoy your game.  It is easy, quick to learn, and most of all fun!
