The most important thing to remember about network marketing is that it is not really about selling soap and cosmetics door to door.  You can make a part time income doing this but you are never going to make enough money to quit your day job.  The biggest part of success with network marketing is that you have to build an organization.  If you don’t have people working to increase your business for you, a high power downline, then you will never be able to fire your boss and be your own company.

Understanding this fundamental aspect of success with network marketing is not something that should cause stress.  You can still sell product to your friends and family, in fact this is highly recommended for two reasons.  First, you get to keep honing your skills in the trenches so you tcan ransfer that information on to our down.  Second, it shows your downline it can be done and this gives you a much better organization structure if anyone ever disputes the effectiveness of the program.
