Terrible Tattoo Removal Method #3: TCA Chemical Peels
Nov 7th, 2009 by Whale

TCA chemical peels are not nearly as shady as dermabrasion or excision. At least with this method, there are many other applications that are viable beyond the idea of removing tattoos. For instance, TCA chemical peels are used to remove wrinkles and warts and other gross things on the skin. Somewhere in that discover, people started using them as a tattoo removal treatment method.

The problem with that is that this is an over the counter product and if done wrong, you could feel like your skin is burning. That means a lot of pain and a scar. Not very fun in my book!

If you have a tattoo you want removed, don’t risk burning yourself with TCA! The Tattoo Removal Creams Guide details many different methods for tattoo removal – mostly all of which create no pain, no burning, and little to no risk of damaging the skin.
