The days of poorly performing battery drills are behind us with newer versions solving the old two-pronged problem of inferior power and short battery life. These days you can have a powerful drill that can be conveniently used when a power outlet is not available and not have to sacrifice power to do it. The only real downside to using one of these cordless drills is the greater weight of the drills at the more powerful end of the scale. Because you are also carrying around a pretty hefty battery which is attached to the drill you’re going to notice the difference if you’re using it for any length of time. Some might say it’s a small price to pay for a drill that can be taken anywhere.
