Make the Choice to Save Money on Your Wedding

When I started planning for my wedding, I gave it 19 months of time because I wanted my perfect fairytale wedding. Giving it that amount of time let me go from a budget of 25,000 to 10,000 while only sacrificing a few things. What did I sacrifice? Well not much , as it turns out. I ended up getting everything (minus a 10 tiered wedding cake) that I wanted.

Whats important about wedding planning and saving money is the willingness to sacrifice the small unnecessary things, in order to gain the more important things. I sacrificed a lot of my time and my friend’s time and I gained a more expensive wedding dress and the Calla Lily theme that I wanted.  The extra time I used to research less costly items, and shop a few miles away for flowers.

If you’re willing to put the time in you can save money on your wedding by following a how to plan a wedding on a budget, guide.
