If you’re planning a trip to Seoul then there is only one thing that I’m going to have to go out on a limb and insist you check out on your next visit. In fact, go ahead and consider this one item my entire list of South Korea travel tips. What single item could be so spectacular? What wonder of nature could have me so transfixed? Well, there’s the rub. Normally I WOULD insist that the natural wonders are more impressive than the man made shenanigans you’ll find in most major metropolitan areas but in this case there is no denying that this free-to-see gift was brought to you by the hard working hands of the Seoul Public Works department. The Banpo Bridge was not only built on top of a earlier bridge to offer a route across the Han River in the event of flooding (which is cool enough in its own right) but just last year it got a major upgrade in the form of 10,000 LED lit nozzles that shoot 190 tons of water per minute in one of the most stunning water fountain displays you will likely ever see.
