If you’re like most people you don’t want your expensive toys to look just like everyone else who has one. Gaming consoles are no different and that is why there is a market for decal stickers or “skins”. They allow to change your console’s look without opening it up and painting or buying a custom case. Although it is quite easy to put on Xbox 360 skins, there are a few tips that will help you make sure that they will go on right and stay on.
Clean The Case
All you need to do is grab some rubbing alcohol and some damp paper towels and clean off the case thoroughly. Be careful not to use too much alcohol. Also take off the faceplate – it just pops off.
Aligning The Skin Properly
Skins for the Xbox 360 comein three pieces so you should figure out what is what and lay it out. In order to get the decals to line up just right you should take off the back and then put it back on leaving a slight edge to work with. This is so that you don’t accidentally get the sticker stuck to anything. Basically you just line it up and press down and remove the back completely, sliding your finger down to seal it off. Once you get the first one on the rest is a breeze.
