I would guess that just about every golfer in the world, at least every devoted golfer who is struggling to lower their handicap, would dream of having their own practice putting green in their back yard. With the growth of synthetic lawn putting greens being installed around the country it looks as though these are no longer dreams but actual realities. The quality of the artificial grass is said to be very similar to that of tournament golf courses with the roll as true as can be imagined and the greens receptive to a ball that is pitched onto them. One would expect the respective handicaps of club golfers around the country will begin to tumble as the most use is being gained of their new practice arenas. That is, of course, assuming that the real hard work is being done and the aspiring single digit golfers are out there doing the hard work.
