Writing Travel Stories
Oct 23rd, 2009 by whaleadmin

If I had to outline my traveling story writing process it would go a little something like this. I like to focus on one clear cut interesting story per day. No sense in wasting people’s time with poorly told ramblings about all the things you’ve done in one day. You can only hold someone’s attention for so long talking about each of the five different museums and or churches you wandered through today. The much more interesting option is to go into a little more detail about the guard you had a run in with at church #3 for unwittingly bringing an unauthorized backpack onto hallowed ground. Thousands of people before you have described the cobblestone streets and the gothic architecture but only you can describe the life you have the opportunity to lead everyday. So, I’ll start writing the story of the guard in my head as I wander around this new world, working under the assumption that will be the most interesting thing to happen today. Of course, if I happen to see a drug bust go down at church #5 I’m going to have to start writing a new story.

Laser Stretch Mark Treatment
Aug 31st, 2009 by whaleadmin

Managing stretch mark scars is something that no one wants to deal with, but it can be necessary – especially following child birth. Up until now, the only sensible solution we had was to try to suppress these marks with makeup or strategic clothing. But nowadays there are a vast range of stretch mark removal solutions that will be truly effective.

Besides using a topical ointment (such as Revitol Stretch Mark Cream) as a stretch mark remover, a method like micro-dermabrasion could possibly perform well to revive your post pregnancy skin. It naturally smooths the appearance of stretch marks by removing the top layer of your skin, safely and gently. Another option is laser stretch mark treatment. A laser will break down the scars with a series of treatments, so that they gradually begin to lose their pigmentation. The stretch mark scars will then gently diminish until they match up with the uniform tone of your skin.

Ten letters to the advice column.  George counted the stack Corinth handed him when he came up the steps. Corinth said, “You know I’ve had three calls this morning about the column.  One was from a friend of Baby Sue and he wanted to speak to her. I told him that Baby Sue was out of the office—actually she was standing right here. I told him he would have to write a letter to the Advice Column if he had any complaints. His name is Archibald St. Amant III. Please don’t let him talk to her if he calls back. She made a horrible face when she heard his name.

George took the letters. “I’m the soul of discretion.” The first letter he opened was from a newcomer to the city asking for information about where to find good, safe, apartments. ‘I don’t want breakup advice or any of that lovelorn stuff. Actually, I’m a transsexual dancer at the Red Poppy. I’m busy all the time and I just want a safe place to relax. Please don’t use the name Red Poppy in your column.’
