Bandon Oregon hotels are an interesting subject among locals on the south Oregon coast. With the recent boom and bust in the housing market, it looks like the plans for any new Bandon accommodations are at a stand still. And even though one of the main draws to the area in the Bandon Dunes golf complex of golf courses has stayed relatively busy during the drop in most every other area of the economy in Bandon, there has been no push to go ahead and complete any new hotels.
It is interesting that before the bust, very little development happened in this sector even though the number of visitors to Bandon and other towns on the south Oregon coast had been soaring. It is a subject that local residents can sit in the local coffee shop and talk about for hours, but nobody really knows what is going on next. Oh well, they will eventually build some new hotels and resorts in Bandon, it probably just won’t be for a couple of years.
